This week we have been learning some dances. We learnt a traditional Scottish celidh dance called the Eva 3 Step. Then we tried to add some African moves into it. We were thinking about African warrior poses. Here is a website that shows some traditional African dancing and teaches some of the moves:

Sounds great fun! I’m sure if you sent some information to the Castlefield and Mossneuk blogs they’d like to try it soon as well! Why not send a comment about it? A pupil could even phone up Castlefield and ask to speak to one of the P7 children to tell them – that would be brave!
hi Mrs Green this African topic because it is fun to finding out about things in Africa and the African dance is fun to learn.
learning to make up an African dance is soo much fun and hopefully i will be able to make my own by taking bits out the hole class is making and that it will be as fun to learn and teach it to others aswell.
