Learning about Africa (Kenya Group)

We have been learnng about Africa and to use a map and also we learned how to draw rivers, lakes, and mountains onto a map. We have researched on the internet about different countries in Africa. We found out that there is rainforests and in the winter some of the deserts drop under freezing at night time. We also found out that Africa is a contenent not a country but there are 54 countries. We have named our groups after countries in Africa, the group’s names are Libya, Botswana, Madagascar, Malawi and Kenya.

    ive been reading your recent blog on Africa and it all sounds fascinating. Im currently learning about mountains and rivers in my geographys lessons – i love it! did you know that once upon a time South America was joined to the west coast of Africa? Shocking isn’t it!
