Africa Art

This week we learnt about the importance of masks in African culture.  We made some masks in art using contrasting coloured paper.  We cut our masks out one side of the paper and then flipped them over on to the other coloured paper.  We has to think about drawing stylised eyes and mouths etc. We really enjoyed this task but sometimes we got a little confused as your can’t stick the pieces done until the very end.
